Brunch & Social's owner was ready to launch a new concept next door to the well-known Bandido Coffee in Five Points South. He already had a full, colorful brand, but needed it translated to the walls of his new space. He wanted artwork that was bold, on-theme, and would immediately grab attention when walking in the door.

I used Brunch & Social's set of branded illustrations along with their color palette to design a pair of murals with tile pattern frames. In addition, their logo was painted on the back wall facing anyone that entered the restaurant.

All three painted elements create bold, colorful harmony that both invites and excites customers. These branded artworks instantly create social media opportunities and free marketing for anyone snapping photos inside. Brunch & Social's business is already off to an incredible start with their opening weekend selling out!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama located in Hueytown, Alabama were ready to transform an unused room at their location into a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) lab. They needed a design that made it clear what the room would be used for, and also be bright, colorful, and inspire the children learning at their facility.

I used their national brand guidelines and built a fun, colorful palette that incorporated childlike doodles, while remaining true to the central theme for STEAM.

This space instantly became a colorful, exciting room for education that both the children and staff adored. In addition, it became an opportunity for their social media growth and a significant value add for their non-profit space.

With nothing but a blank, white sign on the front of their business, Cha House was unseen to the community. Even the tea-lovers of Birmingham were surprised to find out about this tea house right in the heart of Avondale that they'd driven by on a regular basis.

I focused on using their existing brand colors, logo, and product offerings to design an eye-catching mural that would announce to their existence and deliver a promise of what Cha House would offer.

Today, Cha House has increased their presence as a staple business in Avondale. Their foot traffic and sales have greatly increased, and their new visibility has brought the Birmingham community closer.

This mural was created using a blue and yellow color palette, highlighting florals and abstract shapes to fill the large, open room. The two walls in this office space meet at a corner, and the full mural measures 18.8'x8.5', approximately 160ft².

This mural focuses on yellows, pink, and green which were already dominant in the dining room to create wildflowers with a grounding circle. It measures 8.7'x8', approximately 70ft².

This small mural occupies the space over the bathtub and uses dark and light blue for framing tulips. It measures 2.5'x4.8', approximately 12ft².
