Cha House (Birmingham, AL) - Exterior Sign and Mural

This commercial mural was designed for Cha House, a tea house located in Birmingham, Alabama, right in the heart of Avondale on 41st street. I was given total creative freedom for the mural, and chose colors that were an extension of their logo palette. The sign measures around 25'x6' (approximately 150ft²) and it took 4 days to complete, including 1 day of prep time.

I use a Meta Quest 3 for transferring my designs, which means I can easy set up for multi-day projects without needing to reset a projector or use the time-consuming scribble grid method. I also use Zibra muralist brushes and Behr Premium Paints.
